Props to the Cops – Arrest in a Home Invasion Burglary and Pistol Whipping

On Saturday, December 17, 2011, at about 1:45 PM, an adult male was the victim of a home invasion in the 1600 block of Irving Street, NW, during which he was pistol whipped and bound with duct tape.

Two male subjects ransacked his residence and fled with cash and other property. After an investigation by the Metropolitan Police Department, the two suspects were identified and arrest warrants were obtained.

Both individuals have subsequently been arrested and charged with Burglary One while Armed for their participation in this offense: The first adult male was arrested on Saturday, February 25th, and the second adult male was arrested on February 28th. A .45 caliber Ruger semi-automatic pistol was also recovered in relation to this case.
