  • Ugh – how boring. And that bathroom – tacky tacky. With such an awesome space (and obviously money) why is the kitchen so bland? Location and two-car garage are the only things worth while. I’ll pass.

  • Geez, what a crap hole. Only a 2 car garage? I bet it only fits one of my Maybachs!

In all seriousness, a nice place. What is kind of shocking is that it sold for ~900K back in 2001. Granted, it was before a renovation in 2003, but still…to be able to get such a large house in the heart of GT 10 years ago for ~900K seems unreal.

  • Open floorplan aside, I think it’s a nice house with lots of nice features—fireplaces in the bedroom, great terrace—but it still is just a DC rowhouse. A very nice one, but a rowhouse. That said, I can’t believe it would fetch $2.5M, even in fancy Georgetown.

  • Lovely. Maybe a little too close to Wisconsin and M for my fantasy needs.

  • Beautiful! I think it’s nicely done and 4500 sq ft is huge for Gtown. It’s $577/sq ft which is in the range of normal for the area, right?

  • Yeah I think $577/sq ft is pretty damn good.

  • Amazing how spacious those houses are! I like the neutral. Good move in selling. Buyer can make it their own.
