Love Forrest Hills. Huge lots and pretty neighborhood. Wife and I took a shot at a place there a few years ago (shortsale) but walked away when the owner wanted us to basically perpetrate a fraud by paying 25k under the table for some worthless personal property in the house. Should have done it in retrospect.
What a gorgeous house… love the dark wood floors, all the windows, the built-ins, the sun room, and the backyard patio. Could use some cosmetic upgrades in the kitchen and bathrooms though.
Hate the kitchen, but every room in the house is gigantic!
Is this decorating a joke? I wouldn’t normally notice or comment on aesthetic details but this is so gaudy it made me cackle at my desk.
I think this (or a very similar house on Linnean) was a residence for Opus Dei male numerary members about 10 years ago or so. I visited that residence a couple of times back in the late 90s (I think), and if it is the same house, it is a very nice, classy, and comfortable house, indeed.
wow. laura ashley overload.
