The bagel shop is also amazingly unpretentious and tasty. Not NYC bagel tasty, but...
It became the new Georgetown when Ann Taylor Loft opened up.

I agree. They need to turn it on the 19th Street axis to catch the speeding. Unless...
Professional Short Sale Negotiator I think.
Retained..
Kind of hard to tell where all those rooms are located…
That means that if you buy the house, they have Christoph Waltz from Inglourious Basterds to help you negotiate the interest rate on your mortgage.
This is a nice community, with a school and park (tennis courts, track, playground), across the street. They should have re-done the roof and painted neutral colors. Other than that, it’s a good option for a young family that wants to stay in the District but doesn’t have millions.
The Post had a piece recently about Woodridge, the neighborhood where this house is located. Sounds like they have a pretty active, involved, and diverse community.

“Woodridge, a slice of suburbia in Washington, D.C.”
That’s an appropriate lede. This neighborhood is pretty isolated, so you get a DC address but fewer advantages than many close in suburbs. For around the same money per sq/ft you can get a place in Forest Glen or parts of Silver Spring where you’ll have better schools and transport access, grocery stores and family related things.
Why is there a branch on the bathroom wall????
It’s a “hot” DIY project on lots of blogs these days. You know, “bringing the outdoors in.” Or something like that.
That’s not a cape cod.
The houses in Woodridge are great. Similar to what you see in upper NW at 1/3 the price. It’s a very nice, quiet neighborhood. Like someone else said, it’s a great option for those that want to stay in DC and have a yard and not spend millions.
That’s not a lower level that’s a man cave.
Assuming there aren’t any major hidden nightmarish repairs that it needs then this seems like a decent deal. Looks like a nice place to call home but I don’t know much about the area.
Professional Short Sale Negotiator retained. The Sellers are paying someone to negotiate with the Lein Holders. That is a good thing if someone wants to buy the house. Most Short Sales go to Foreclosure. Having a negotiator helps the chances of avoiding that fate. I think they ran out of allowable characters when typing the description… Loan denied does mean there was a contract and it fell through because of Buyer’s Financing. Not weird to have happen so the Agent wanted potential purchasers to know it was not a problem with the home that made the deal fall apart.
This house is amazing and the owners kept it very nice. The neighborhood is super quiet ( I bought a house on this block about a year ago) and family-orientated.
