Freshii has opened up in the former Gifford’s ice cream store space at 555 11th St, NW next to E Street Cinema. This is their third location in DC and you can see their menu here. Any fans?
I am a huge fan of Freshii. I eat there a little too often at the M st. and 20th NW location. The food is always fresh and relatively healthy. I recommend any of the noodle dishes.

Yeah, I love the place. The guys and gals at 20th & M get to know their customers quickly and greet me by name each time I come back. The food is…well…fresh and between the bowls, wraps, soups and burritos, they have great variety. Love the Cobb Wrap! Glad to see another place opening up.
I don’t think that’s the right address. It may be the building address, but the entrance to E Street Cinema is on E Street, between 10th and 11th, and this is just the other side of Qdoba from that.
Craig E.
Just had lunch there. It was delicious, healthy, and a decent portion as well. Would eat again!

Maybe I’m being curmudgeonly but I hate it when I don’t know how to pronounce the name of a place! It makes me less likely to say to a friend, “Hey wanna go to xyz?” if I don’t know how to say it.
I just had a salad from there. It was okay, except that the “steak” consisted of cold, flavorless hunks of roast beef. Or maybe it was boiled, I dunno.

JUST came from there actually. The salad was ok, very nice and helpful staff. But what’s up with not having any sort of recycling??? one trash can, packed with plastic and other recyclables. Kinda lame.

Fresh-ee? Fresh-eye? Is the double-i silent?
Fresh-ee-ee. Like Hawai’i.
