Sounds pretty cool but damn that’s a lot of bread to bake some bread. Ach, sorry, I just punched myself in the head for that one…

$85 is steep, but that’s about what cooking classes typically cost. I don’t take them for that reason (although, if The Sweet Lobby offered a macaron class I’d be the first to sign up).

    • caroline – I’m with you. I adore macarons. Adour has macaron classes… check it out. I’m thinking of taking a class.

  • That’s a lot of dough to make some bread too.

  • A simple google search can teach you how to bake no knead bread, and you can buy a decent cast iron Dutch oven (which you bake it in) for $40 or less.

  • Already signed up. I agree that $85 is steep, but it is the going rate here in the DC Metro area. BUT when else would you have a chance to bake with Mark Furstenberg?

  • this could be a totally fine deal and a lot of fun, depends on if you have to bring your own weed or if it is provided
