The 5pm Post – Barracks Row Culinary Crawl Classes Sunday, January 29

From a press release:

Some businesses would shy from sharing their culinary secrets with customers. Not Hello Cupcake owner, Penny Karas. She and ten other Barracks Row businesses are opening their doors, sharing their recipes and teaching tricks of the trade next Sunday from 9:30 to 5 p.m., during the first Barracks Row Culinary Crawl.

All under $20, classes explore a spectrum of expertise including cupcake baking, oyster shucking or cooking a Belgium feast! Co-hosted by Barracks Row Main Street, participating businesses include: Matchbox, Senart’s Oyster and Chop House, Hello Cupcake, Spring Mill Bakery, Chat’s Liquor, Zest Bistro, Lavagna, Hill’s Kitchen, Capitol Hill Tandoor and Belga. Several participants chose to donate instructor fees to charities such as Barracks Row Main Street, Oyster Recovery Project and CH Village.

Details the Barracks Row Culinary Crawl Classes can be found below or online here. Participants must register online by Saturday, January 28 at 5 pm; once classes are full they will be closed to new registrations. All classes are 50-60 minutes in length unless otherwise noted.
