Bar Pilar, 1833 14th St, NW, closed for renovations at the end of Nov. and hoped to be open by New Year’s. I peeked in over the weekend:

Well, I miss them, hurry up please. What do you guys think – another month?

Its taking longer than they anticipated because they found out the upstairs needed a lot more work once they knocked out a few walls. Pretty sure they are getting close though.

Finish up already!
Meh, I’ve never been a big fan but I respect all of the Pilar-lovers out there. I’ll definitely visit for a drink once the renovations are finished to see how things turned out!
