New digs for @HR57jazz moving to 1007 H late Jan, 2012. Best yet? Includes street front coffee shop Alchemy open 7 am til midnight.
Tony Puisan will retain @HR57jazz space at 816 H for new BeBop Cafe for blues club, poetry, events.
If you’ve been longing for a bakery on #HStDC, new Alchemy coffee shop @HR57jazz at 1007 H plans house-made pastries, breakfast all day.
Plans sound cool. Sadly, I have still not reconciled their move from Logan Circle…

I took some out of town friends to the HR57 on H st NE last weekend and was profoundly disappointed by just about all aspects of it relative to the old venue on 14th, unfortunately. The vibe was totally gone, it was cramped, and the music wasn’t there. Hopefully the new place will be better.
I think this might be a bad sign for HR-57? Hope I’m wrong
Looking forward to hearing more about BeBop Cafe. (Is that the name?) Losing HR-57 from 14th hurt, but I’m glad it will continue on H Street.
