Banana Leaves Asian Restaurant Slowly Coming Back to Life in Dupont

Many will remember that Banana Leaves, 2020 Florida Ave, NW, suffered a devastating fire back in March ’11. While they had originally hoped to open in December, I’m very happy to see progress. It’s amazing how good new windows can look. Hopefully it won’t be too much longer now.

When I first read the title: Banana LEAVES Asian Restaurant, I envisioned a rogue banana bouncing out the door… Glad the bunch will be intact.
