Foggy Bottom is probably one of the last DC neighborhood’s I’d want to live in. Hell, I’d rather live in Glover Park than in Foggy Bottom.

Yes, but the places in Shaw and Petworth are usually basement apartments a lot larger than 350 SQFT.

Assuming those appliances are decent and it’s not rat-infested, hat’s a great deal. Two years ago I was paying $1000 for a dingy old studio (only half the burners on the stove worked, a bit of the ceiling was coming down, dishwasher didn’t work, no roof deck or fitness center, etc.) two blocks from the metro, and that was while the Whole Foods and all that development was a hole in the ground.

It is considering shitty places in Petworth and Shaw go for only $200 less. And yes, 99% of the general popluation would rather live in a crime-free, well-located area like Foggy Bottom.

Wasn’t there a GDON for a studio in Foggy Bottom in a building with a roof deck, etc. a month or two ago?

My memory is hazy, but I have a feeling that one was more expensive.

One block from there, until less than a year ago was paying $1,850 for a spacious 1 bedroom, including parking, swimming pool, gym, and roof deck.
