  • Noooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!

I really enjoyed their pho. That sucks.

  • We really need a Pho truck. Phonomenon’s pho was actually pretty good. I was looking forward to enjoying it in the winter. Ihope someone else can pick up where they left off.

  • Kinda odd how the back story starts off with “How is it possible for a 20 year old to run a lunch truck?” when the answer basically ends up being “it’s not, at least for me”. I admire her initiative & drive though – I’m sure she’ll be successful in future endeavors.

    • She’ll be successful as long as her endeavors don’t depend on people reading things that she writes. That back story was pretty rough going.

  • That stinks. The pho was meh, but their banh mi was a steal.

The guy that runs Captain Mac is 23? He seems to do alright, but all he’s done is food industry work.

  • As much as I love pho, I can’t imagine it as a to go food. I love the experience of sitting at a pho joint, with all of the sauces and other condiments on the table next to my bowl. I see people getting it to go, but I don’t think that would be the same.

    I never tried the trick.

    • Same here, but I would give it a try when the weather gets colder.

Banh Mi is something I would eat any time, any where.

  • Rachel needs to stop saving for grad school and start saving for remedial writing classes. That was painful.

  • Pho is an unimpressive food.

  • Pho real?

  • I’m just waiting for Pho 14 to open a branch on Q street called Pho Q.
