  • Wow, absolutely not.

  • Worst renting deal I’ve seen here in a long time.

  • 450 square feet for a one-bedroom?? Wow, and I thought my 580-square-foot one-bedroom was tiny.

  • WHY do people feel they can start rents at 1k regardless of location?! NO, this is NOT a good deal. This is just silly.

  • horrible deal. I have almost twice the space for $500 more per month in a much better neighborhood.

  • For a few hundred dollars more, you can live at those new-ish apartments right across from the Fort Totten metro station, instead of a “10 minute” walk away, and get a pool and exercise room to boot!

  • That area east of N. Capitol is scary, not at all close to a metro, and the apt is way too small. You can rent for less almost anywhere in the area.

  • That location is way way more than a 10-minute walk to the Brookland Metro. Closer to a 10-minute drive.

  • agreed it’s a terrible deal. and i live (relatively) close to there. it *is* walkable to both metros, but definitely not in 10 minutes! i live a few blocks north of there (closer to ft totten) and it takes me about 12 minutes to get to metro. to get to Brookland (and Petworth, for that matter!) takes ~20 minutes. Walkable, sure, but not really commute-friendly length. The one thing going for this place is that it’s on the H8 line, which happens to be my favorite bus line…. 🙂 Not worth more than $750, tops, imo. Good for a Catholic U student at that price, maybe.
