Your Afternoon Animal Fix – Keep Your Eyes Peeled for a Lost Cat in Petworth

If you have any fun or interesting animal/pet photos please shoot me an email to princeofpetworth(at)gmail(dot)com with ‘Animal Fix’ in the title and say what neighborhood you’re from or upload to the PoPville flickr pool with your pets name and neighborhood. I can’t guarantee I’ll get them all posted but I’ll do my best.

“Shen is a 15 year old, male brown Siamese cat in Petworth He is slim (about 10 lbs). Usually an indoor cat, he snuck out the back yard fence on Sunday afternoon from the 200 block of Farragut St NW. Unfortunately, he wasn’t wearing a tag at the time. If anyone spots him, please call Travis or Sandy at 202-607-1242.”

  • Are those the lion cubs? They’re huge!

  • I hope Shen finds his way home soon!

  • I really hope this wasn’t Shen and based on the distances involved it seems unlikely, but wanted to pass it along just in case. Around 8am, I saw a Siamese who had been run over on 4th Street, SW between E and G Streets.

    • That wouldn’t have been Shen. At 15 yrs old, I don’t think he’s gone more than a few blocks unless he somehow learned to hop a metro bus.

  • I also saw a cute kitten wandering at T and New Hampshire, NW tonight.. little white fella that looked very scared to be that close to a dog park.

  • Prince Of Petworth

    Shen has been found!
