  • Looks very nice!

I noticed the new townhouses are wood frame with a brick facade. How does this vary from a traditional DC townhouse circa 1800-1900? Is one contruction method superior to the other? In other words, will these “traditional style” townhomes withstand the test of time as well as the older construction?

  • probably depends on the upkeep of the new ones. Doubtful, but they’d certainly do much better in an earthquake.

  • The new rowhomes are going to be beautiful.
