  • There’s another building — gigantic, looks like 4 two story units built from the ground up, I think at N and 1st. They’re almost done.

    Several buildings at N near N Cap have stickers — looks like same developer is flipping all of them. And I think Donetelli (sp?) is doing the empty lot at O(?) and N Cap.

    Lots going on down there, perhaps antcipating the condo development in Possum Gulch AKA Eckington.

  • After having actually looked at the floorplans on the website, I’d say these are very well thought out. I look forward to seeing these when they come on the market. The number these initially list at will likely have a “6” in front of it — I wonder how aggressive they’ll get with the price.

    Another point of pontification: will they put bars on the windows?

    • Thanks for taking a look at my project at 1423 1st St NW. To answer your last question, no there will not be any bars on the windows. There will however be 24 hour security monitoring available. There are 2 (approx 2000 Sq Ft.)units in the building in a tandem configuration, each with a back yard and 2 car garage parking + roof top deck. One of the units is pre-sold and the other will be on the market in the next week or so. We should be done within 6 weeks. FHA/VA financing is available. You are correct in that the price for Unit A (remaining unit) will be in the $600s.
