This is probably going to be the greatest day of our toddler’s life.
Not just for toddlers, I want to go and I’m an adult! Firetrucks, awesome!
Firetrucks are great and all; I’m just interested to know if there will be the accompanying firemen. :p
some of my earliest memories are my dad taking me to the rockville volunteer firefighters station on hungerford drive. kids used to be allowed most weekends and you could climb into the trucks and sit at the wheel and put on the hats and masks. definitely great.
And don’t forget the Kingman Island Bluegrass festival across the bridge from the Truck Touch. 1-8pm
Colleague of mine took his kid to the Sheriff’s open house thing in Fairfax (?) and his kid LOVED it! Great fun for kids… and adults.
Last year they had a police helicopter! And Segway races!
