  • Hi PoP. Do you think that Kevin can add zip code 20018 to the mix? It is also part of Brookland which is of interest to me. I’d appreciate it.

  • Yes, thanks, thanks especially for the great sales in Bloomingdale. The GDoN at 2100 1st St NW went FAST at $850k and there were two more sales at $750k or above on T and Seaton.

    Seems like property values are really sky-rocketing.

  • Some of the listings are confusing. For example, 70 Seat Place NW is listed on Kevin’s sheet as 6 BRs and 4 BAs. On Trulia (or Zillow?), it lists it as 3/1 and 5/2. Whereas Kevin’s sheet lists 2100 1st street at 3/3, Trulia says 4/3.

    What’s up with this? How many beds/baths does 2100 actually have?

    • I double checked the MLS for those two listings. I think Trulia might pull from the tax record. Owners modify houses over time. I bought my house as a 3br, for instance, but finished the basement and added a bedroom, so would sell it as a 4bedroom house.

  • Also there is the fact that Zillow and Trulia give you about as much information on a home’s value in DC as consulting a haruspex would.
