Dear PoP – More Protests and Police Presence at 16th and Kalorama Sat. Night?

“Dear PoP,

I was coming home on Saturday night around 11:30 PM and when I got to the corner of 16th and Euclid there was a police cruiser blocking the Northbound lanes of 16th St and a couple dozen people on the East side of 16th St (by entrance to the park) and a line of police cars and motorcycles parked on the West side of 16th St down to Kalorama. It sounded like the people might have been chanting something at the police, but they didn’t have any signs or anything that identified what group they might be a part of. I couldn’t find anything on the news or the MPD website about it and was hoping you had heard something?”

I wonder if this was related to the IMF/World Bank protests? Did anyone hear what they were chanting?
