  • I’ve seen it out there for the last week and a half or so. Seems Romeo has added some “decor” to his place since getting his liquor license

  • Does Morgan’s sell fresh seafood — fillets, etc? How is the quality?

  • I’m glad to hear that Romeo finally got his liquor license.

  • The quality is awful. I’ve gotten sick there several times before giving up on it entirely. I admit the place has some personality but its a food poison breading ground.

  • god the outside of the building is so freaking ghetto. i was hoping the high wind last week would blow the whole thing down. hopefully his game plan is to sell the place when GA ave gentrifies now that is has a liquor license.

  • I love Romeo. I love the sentry. And I love liquor licenses. But the food can not be trusted in the slightest.

  • I wanted really badly to love the crab cake from this place. It really wasn’t anything near what I’d been promised by the PoP community or yelp. Just a dunk in the deep fryer and then my choice of a luxurious piece of white or wheat knockoff Wonder Bread. Blech. If I’m missing something, please let me know – but as of right now, I have no reason to give it a second shot.

  • HAH! I have one of those Jack Daniels statues in my back yard. There used to be a contest every year sponsored by JD where a bunch of bar staffs would decorate their own statue.

  • I’m shocked by some of the negative comments. I went there for the first time on Saturday and had a WONDERFUL experience. My boyfriend and I shared a fish dinner, plenty of food, and it was great! Romeo is a true gem too; I felt so at home in his place and we even ended up eating in and having some drinks when our original intention was to just pick up and go. I plan to go again.

PS: Try the sweet potato cookies; they’re great.
