House of the Day

This super cool one is from Capitol Hill. Looking at it straight on you have no idea how far back it really goes.

  • Thanks for featuring this one! I live across the street and have watched its transformation over the last year and a half. It was fully renovated last spring prior to being sold for $2,625,000, and then fully renovated again before being moved into by the new owners Congressman Michael McCaul and his wife Linda and family.

  • Got to love a 2.6M home with window units haha. Regardless, I bet it looks just as gorgeous on the inside as the exterior looks.

The narrow slit windows reminds me of something you’d see on a castle for shooting arrows out of, I’m assuming that’s what the original architect was going for.
