  • Is there any way that you could post this as an Excel file instead? thanks!

    • Have you tried

You can export any searchable data to spreadsheet format with the click of a button. I used this function on my last property tax appeal to generate the average price for my type of house in my neighborhood over the course of a year.

It also allows you to save a search, and will automatically track those type of listings for you. Any time a property goes under contract or is sold in my search area of 3 or 4 neighborhoods, I get an email about it. Pretty neat.

    • +1 …or at least a PDF that isn’t all pixellated that you could actually use the search function on…

  • Every time I see that photo it reminds me of the houses on Rock Creek Church Road… The colonial design is rather ugly but when its plastered over it it makes them look like Spanish Colonial homes. Is that where the picture in this post is from? [Rock Creek Church Road?]

    • Prince Of Petworth

It’s from 13th St, NW in Columbia Heights. The home (and one next to it) have since been completely renovated.

      • Nice, thats a pretty big house. I remember I was looking at houses back when I used to attend college in DC (around 1997) and the prices on most of the houses on 13th street were around $30k-$50k, compared to that now prices are stratospheric for just one floor in them that’s converted into a condo. I should have taken out more student loans and bought the block back then!

I wonder if that kind of moss growing on there is bad for the brick work? I’ve seen it on houses before, maybe that would be a good question for a P.O.P. post?

        • Heh. Didn’t the guy who used to live here go apeshit when PoP said that he thought the ivy was “crazy”? Or was that another house?
