Your Afternoon Animal Fix

If you have any fun or interesting animal/pet photos or news please shoot me an email to princeofpetworth(at)gmail(dot)com with ‘Animal Fix’ in the title and say what neighborhood you’re from or upload to the PoPville flickr pool. I can’t guarantee I’ll get them all posted but I’ll do my best.  I’m aware not everyone loves pets.  But they bring me (and others) a lot of pleasure.  It’s cool, hold tight, a new post is coming in a half hour, you can make it!

  • the albino squirrel – His name is Al. A good church goin’ squirrel. Tough sonofabitch too. The other squirrels tried to off him when was little (for being weird), but he fought them off. He’s like the boy named Sue. Survived snowpacolypse. Kids are hella scared of his beedy red eyes. All true.

  • A white squirrel…and all this time, I didn’t think The Plan was real…

  • Great pic of that squirrel…never seen an albino animal in the “wild” before!

  • ive seen one over at 5th & allison nw, was super cool. & yes as korny as it sounds there an all black one its been seen with….

  • I grew up in Transylvania County in the mountains of North Carolina and our town mascot was the white squirrel. Our aren’t albino like this one but just as bright in color. I think they only exist in 10 little areas of the country, more or less. More info on ours at the town website…in case anyone’s still fascinated by this 🙂

  • Wow! The albino squirrel is cool. The black ones are interesting too. I have only seen those here (no jokes!!).

    Very cool pics
