The 5pm Post – 1st Annual Wardman Park Indoor Mini-Golf Classic Benefiting Children’s Miracle Network

WHAT: Washington Marriott Wardman Park invites all mini-golfers to the 1st Annual Wardman Park Indoor Mini-Golf Classic. The 18 hole mini-golf course will be throughout the large hotel and will have hazards, such as registration desks, presidential suites, escalators and outdoor pool. The 1st annual Wardman Park Indoor Mini-Golf Classic to raise money for the Children’s Miracle Network, an international non-profit organization that raises funds for children’s hospitals. Mini-golf participants will raise money for Washington’s Children’s National Medical Center, one of the 170 Children’s Miracle Network hospitals that treat 17 million children each year. Awards for will be handed out for the 1st, 2nd, 3rd place winners as well as the Tackiest Golf Outfit. Tee times for foursomes are still available at $200 or $50 per golfer. 5 p.m. Registration & Pre-Tournament Reception – Ms. Lauren Shehadi, video anchor and producer for CBSSports.com, the honorary master of ceremonies, will welcome all participants.
6 p.m. First Tee Ceremony – Tournament play will end at 9:30 p.m.
8 p.m. Second Tee Ceremony
8 p.m. Post-Tournament Awards Ceremony Begins Ms. Shehadi will immediately interview all foursomes after there completion of 18th hole. Awards will be presented by Westfield’s Golf Club.
