According to the Downtown DC BID:
“Get ready for Redline, a dual-concept sports pub and upscale-casual restaurant. The sports pub, scheduled to open this month, will occupy the first level and feature table-side taps and a big projection screen. Once it opens in mid-December, the second floor restaurant will serve American food with a French flair and offer outdoor seating and patio space. Mick Dadlani, who owns Fly Lounge in Dupont Circle, is giving the space a modern design with exposed brick and natural light.”

Um, yeah. I don’t think that’s the redlining they’re talking about.
This is going to be the premier spot in town to watch NASCAR Sprint Cup races, and hopefully they’ll open early on the weekends for F1 action.
Sounds like a successful combination of concepts – I’d try it. Table-side taps eh? There can be only ONE!
There’s a bar named Redline in Cambridge, MA also
I am typically not a fan of places that have multiple personality disorder. If you try to be several totally different things (we’re a sports bar! we’re a lounge! we’re an upscale restaurant with a generic menu!) it rarely works out. But hopefully they will prove me wrong …
Who knew that Nascar was popular enough around here to have a bar themed after it.
Fly Lounge is the worst club I’ve ever been to. So this is going to attract a more redneck version of the obnoxious crowd that goes there? I’ll stay far, far away.
I love French food, but what happened to Indebleu – I didn’t even know it closed.
There are already too many sports pub establishments in that area. Enough!!
I went this past weekend. The food is FABULOUS!. We had the fish tacos and the pesto chicken sandwich.
