Funxion Looking to Open 24 Hrs
Funxion is located at 1309 F Street, NW. We judged them back in July. Their liquor license application says:
“CURRENT HOURS OF OPERATION
Sunday through Thursday 10 am – 2 am and Friday & Saturday 10 am – 3 am
PROPOSED HOURS OF OPERATION
Sunday through Saturday 24 Hours”
Do you think folks will be craving a bison burger or a ‘heart blend’ (freshly juiced beets, carrots, apples and pears are blended with a touch of avocado, protein powder, lemon and cleansing ginger) at 4am…?
On a side note, even though it’s getting cold, they have the sweetest outdoor tables and seats.

This place needs to get over themselves and quickly. Their doormen are obnoxious, their prices are outrageous, and everytime I’ve gone there it’s completely empty.
I like butter. And salt. And fat. Therefore, I don’t really dig this place. But hey, if you want a selection of bottled water that rivals Amazon.com than you’re in for a treat!

The food here at Funxion is gross and expensive. Go to the salad/sandwich place next door, which is 100x better and cheaper.
I have only been once and the food was just okay but my drink was good (some type of purple alcoholic beverage)but it was for an event a friend hosted so I paid 0$. The only way I would return is if a friend hosted something there again.
