Does $2495 sound reasonable for this 2 bed/1 bath?

  • Looks like a nice enough apartment, but it is definitely not in Mount Pleasant

  • Sounds reasonable to me– I used to rent a very nice 2 bed/2 bath a few blocks west of here and paid $2700/month (utilities included). This property has 2 levels (a big perk if you ask me) and looks just as nice, but has one bathroom fewer and is on a much sketchier block in my opinion. The trade-off sounds about right.

  • WOW. A Mortgage of $550,000 is that much a month.

  • Not sure how this apartment could reasonably claim to be in Mt. Pleasant.

  • I live across the street and live in a 2b/1bath and pay $1700 a month. Just sayin…

  • Just wondering what the aversion is to putting square footage in ads. It’s just a waste of time for everyone not to.

    • Square footage can be a very deceiving number. I am not saying it is not important, but I just feel people rely too heavily on it.

  • It seems a little steep to me. I rent a 4 bedroom house with 2 decks and 2 yards for less than $1,000 more a month. And it’s actually in Mount Pleasant. What is the landlord smoking – this is 1.5 miles or more from MtP? It makes me wonder what else they’re lying about.
But it does look like a nice place, and it’s in a reasonable neighborhood, near the park, not too far from Metro, etc. So maybe it’s fair after all.
