  • Hot damn that’s funny, Murdock! 🙂

  • Not that I don’t think the winner is funny BUT
the caption should include the obvious elements of the image.
The image of the girl in the ad is completely irrelevant to this caption but not to the image.
So, I don’t think this was a good caption for this image.
POP, if you need help I’m available.

    • well, he didn’t mention the trash can either. So what? He referenced the two most important (arguably) features: the man and the bus stop. It’s funny and creative, let’s not over analyze.

      • i disagree with anon (8:04). the presence of the beautiful woman plays perfectly in to the “most interesting man in the world” motif. that she’s an advertisement fits in to the ridiculousness: this version of the “most interesting man in the world” carouses with 2-d starlets instead of real ones, takes the bus instead of hydrofoils, and is kind of an upscale hobo (sorry that this is insensitive, i know this is a real person, but right now we’re being intentionally ridiculous). anyway, anon, just because the woman isn’t explicitly mentioned in the caption doesn’t mean that she is irrelevant to its meaning.

  • I usually get it, but this time I am lost (must be the english as 2nd language thing)

  • I don’t get it either and I have no excuse since I am English as my first language.

  • Do I get a prize as runner-up?

  • It’s a beer ad, featuring “the most interesting man in the world”. He is the life of parties he didn’t attend. If he punched you in the fact, you would have to resist the urge to thank him. “I don’t usually drink beer, but when I do, I prefer Dos Equis. Stay thirsty my friends.” He is… the most interesting man in the world.

    Great ads.
