Newark Street Dog Park is located at the intersection of 39th and Newark Streets, NW.

From a press release:

“The $400,000 off-leash dog park spans over 10,000 square-feet in two enclosed areas and adheres to DPR’s standards and guidelines. Located on the southeast corner of the existing Newark Park, the new dog park is Americans with Disabilities (ADA) accessible. The community raised $25,000 for amenities in the new dog park.

Built in just four months after months of delay due to council hearings, the dog park boasts environmentally-friendly and sustainable features that include a rain garden with native plants and bio-retentive drain pipe.

Newark Dog Park is the District’s fourth dog park. A fifth dog park adjacent to the Upshur Recreation Center in Ward 4 is expected to be complete in October 2010. Designs for an additional dog park in Ward 5 between 14th Street and Tennessee Avenue, NE are in the works. All dog parks are built through a public-private partnership with DPR and the sponsoring community.”

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
