The flier says:

You can find more info here and photos here.

I know this is technically house porn (over $1 million) but I couldn’t resist starting off the week with this one. That roof deck brought a tear to my eye. Think this 5 bed/3.5 will go for $1,099,000?

  • Hell yes– good deal. This will not last. Looks like it is in fantastic shape, it is huge, has garage parking, and still has many original details. Location is awesome. Had I not just bought a house last year, I would have snatched this one up. Trust me, this will not be on the market in 2 weeks.

  • I always guess the price before scrolling down….I guessed 1.2, then looked at the pics which only reinforced that. Good deal.

  • I agree, it’s most likely a good deal and won’t last long.

  • Good deal…for someone. For most people in this price range, the fact that it has no back yard, extremely small closets and bathrooms, an un/partially-finished basement and a weird layout, will make it a pass.

  • Really though, what good is a capitol dome view? I suppose there are some people who would like to constantly monitor the capitol dome, and it’s probably nice for about five minutes at a time when you have visitors, but beyond that, is it really worth paying more for?

  • I can stare at the Capitol Dome for HOURS

  • Technically anything over $5 is house porn for me…

  • Went through this two weekends ago – it is phenomenal, one of the nicest rowhouses I’ve seen on the market anywhere near this price.

  • What’s the story here? Why are they selling it so cheap?

  • Doesn’t anyone refer to this neighborhood as Shaw anymore? It’s four blocks from Logan Circle! I mean, Dupont Circle is five blocks from Logan Circle – maybe that should be considered part of the Logan Circle neighborhood, too.

  • Agreed, this is Shaw; Most of the “U Street Corridor” is Shaw. However, the Logan border is only one street south below S St. so I may let it slide.

I think it’s priced appropriately…not sure why it would cost much more than that.

  • great deal, just for simiple fact is that it is a single family house.

  • its lovely, and a great location. I think it is appropriately priced.

  • good deal and jealous.
