Back in Feb. ’09 we learned that Everlasting Life, located at 2928 Georgia Ave, NW, had temporarily closed for renovations. While renovations took a little longer than expected a reader sends in word and a few shots of the renovated space looking good:
“They still have a vegan deli, they added a stage, tables, and a bar. They are working on a liquor license.”

I had a Yorkie and it pains me to recall thoughts of when my see you next Tuesday gf left...
I hope your prayers are answered.
Our thoughts are with you.
"Boot camp" groups. My hardcore running friends always complain about them. They clog up...
Gathering in one place to show respect for those who served their country is thoughtful....
Wow – this looks impressive. I am a Howard grad and a recent Park View resident. This store has been around for some time, and the food is good. I am glad to see they are stepping up their game!
A liquor license sort of seems contrary to their mission.
yummy. i love this place.
It may be contrary to their mission, if this Time article is correct:

ok, just so you all know, I used to go there a lot in the 1990s until these Rastas were handing out anti-gay literature in the store. I complained and the store staff told me to get out. Later I heard the same stories from two other people- they had anti-gay literature and flyers on display.
I think their website URL =
