  • Personally, if I were going to pay that much for a 1 BR, even with all the amenities, I would choose a more savory part of town. For my tastes, the area still has too much crime to warrant the price.

  • $2400 for a 1 br + den. Great for lobbyists! Who else can afford it?

  • If you want to live ridiculous lavishly- then pay this.

Otherwise, there are beautiful apartments on the same street for over $1,000 less. They come with similar amenities (stainless steel appliances, granite counters, patio/backyard, and hardwood floors).

    Atleast that’s my two cents.

  • Just another person having bought a massively overpriced condo on speculation, now is trying to get someone to get him out of his huge monthly mortgage payment.

No, horrible deal. You can get as nice or nicer places in MUCH better neighborhoods.

  • This is the most insanely priced condo I have seen yet.

  • This one has been on CL for months. Judging from the pictures, I’m pretty sure I saw this listed back in May or June. Guess they haven’t found a rich lobbyist yet!

  • If you rent this at this price, you must have been exposed to fumes as a child

  • I live up the street and pay a fraction of that for twice the space.

  • $2400 for 4th st? haha

  • LOL. You can rent a 1BR in Logan, Dupont, Georgetown *easily* for that much. I guess it’s a premium for the neighborhood *flair*

  • Hmm I guess not too many rich lobbyists are looking in Shaw (since it hasn’t rented after several months)

  • Up until a few months ago, I used to pay exactly half that for a large 1br with a yard at 5th and P. Anyone who pays that is a sucker.

  • Too funny, so for $2400+ utilities I can have a 1bed+ den place in a dodgy part of town with no parking, i would love to meet the fool that moves in to this spot. Ha

  • You did that thing where you said Ridge St AT 4th, hehehe.
