Does $1100 sound reasonable for this one bedroom, one bath studio basement?

  • Basementy!

  • I always thought “studio” apartment meant basically a 1-room job – i.e., no separate bedroom. How does a studio apartment have a bedroom and still be a studio?

  • The colored bricks on this house are really cool looking close up.

  • I like how ‘massage’ is listed as an amenity

  • I think the massage here is an actual amenity — the place mentioned is just a few doors down from here and is clean and totally legit.

I would jump at this apartment if I were looking in the area! That CityVista across the street just keeps getting better.

  • No, $1100 plus utilities does not sound reasonable for a claustrophobic studio created from a crappy basement reno. Can you even get the oven door open?

Andy, you are correct: a studio does not have a separate bedroom. This is not a 1-bedroom.
