  • Bring ice and a cooler to keep your stuff from wilting!
    Should have been Saturday morning.

  • the farmers are already committed for Sat morning elsewhere.

  • The forecast for tonight is pretty good – I like having it before the weekend commences. Good call!!

  • Looking forward to it. And I love the Friday evening time slot!

  • Friday evening time slot is great. I plan on being a regular after I get home from work to plan my weekend cooking. This time slot also means I can sleep in and be lazy on Saturday morning instead of going to some over-crowded market.

  • From a press release sent to listservs:

Over 12 vendors and business have signed up for the inaugural 2010 market season with more expressing interest on a daily basis. Participating vendors for this season include Atwater’s Bakery, G Flores Produce, Orchards Estates, Great Harvest Bread Company, Praline Bakery, Teaco, Dangerously Delicious Pies, Kilmer’s Farm, Barajas Produce, C&T Produce, Qualia Coffee, and Corehaus. Local professional DJ, “The Unknown,” will provide musical entertainment, the Bikehouse a bicycle repair clinic, and artist area artust Jazirock will conduct graffiti art demonstrations. The market will be open every Friday from 3 PM to 7 PM through late October….

  • So excited! All we need is an olive stand and it would be just like Europe! Can’t wait to get some fresh local veggies and fruit.

  • Anyone know if there is at atm nearby?

  • ATM at the BP, Safeway and probably some others that are close too.

  • I cannot wait! Friday is perfect – I have long lamented the lace of Friday markets, since Friday’s when I finally have time in the evening to cook, but unless I planned ahead, my only option’s the grocery store. Cannot wait to check it out tonight!!!
