The Capitol Riverfront BID’s summer outdoor movies begin this Thursday, June 3rd with HOOSIERS kicking off the Ultimate Underdog series. Movies will be held in Canal Park at 2nd and M Streets, SE. The screening begins around 8:45 PM however pre-movie events start at 7:30 PM with free Hoop Jams, wii and trivia. Stop by the Capitol Riverfront Farmers Market beforehand (3-7 pm at New Jersey Ave and M St, SE) to pick up picnic items or enjoy dinner from Sauca food truck and Dangerously Delicious Pies on site. Bring blankets and chairs, family and friends and enjoy the movies! The movie flyer with full schedule and the press release are attached.
Movies are free and open to the public. Closed Captioning. Rain cancellation will be posted by 4 pm at www.capitolriverfront.org.”
