Dan, When I saw the headline “Wild Turkey seen in Poplar Point,” I thought: “BFD! I’d be surprised if that whiskey WASN’T in every liquor store in Anacostia!” But then I see you mean the bird!!! Very cool!
I thought the same thing when I first saw the turkey. I was posting it to twitter and felt the need to clarify it was not in a bottle.
Ah, this reminds me of the greatest round of golf of all time at Rock Creek Golf Course. Not only did I hit the ball well, but I also saw: a fox, a hawk, a deer, a wild turkey, and an owl. It was amazing.
