  • if you hold off just a little while, 2126 Flagler (two doors to the south) should be getting fixed up too. it was just on the market recently, is pretty cheap (for bloomingdale) and will probably get some fixing up to bring it up to par with the surrounding houses.

(i checked it out while on the house hunt…)

  • Man, the 2nd one’s butt on the inside.

  • Apparently someone thought 2132 was a good deal, since it’s on a contingency contract.

  • Both houses are overpriced by $125,000. Please let’s not turn this area into another Logan. At least they didn’t make them condos.

  • oh man these will be great comps for my place a block away!

  • 2130 looks nice. The fireplace and stair are nicely done. And although the kitchen finishes look cheap and a little outdated, I like that it is separated from the living and dining rooms. The bedrooms look bigger and the basement looks nicer.

    I can’t imagine paying more for 2132.

  • Ditto, Eric. Woot!

PoP I’m LOVING your Ledroit/Bloomingdale “thing” these days- keep it up please.

  • Incredible – I almost bought the red house next to those about 6 years ago but bought in Petworth instead. The houses in Petworth are larger.

  • I think the second is much better, esp. the kitchen and bathrooms. Too much exposed brick, though, and not enough grass in the back yard.

  • I agree on house #2. I think it will go much quicker because of the nuetral interior and better kitchens and baths. Plus a 2BR basement unit makes it affordable to a lot of people if they can rent that out.

  • i think Bloomingdale prices are getting a little out of control.
