There is also a big green chair in the Glover Park area around 35th and R.
Finally, a chair to sit my big fat ass.
This makes me long for a resurgence of the glorious furniture store commercial where they sang “got a big fine couch, won’t you back that thing up!” because the closing line of that sweet jam was “across from The Big Chair in Anacostia!”
In Geneva, Switzerland is a similar giant chair missing one leg which is somehow a tribute to landmine victims. I am sure someone could get on CNN if they did a Big Chairs of the World google map sort of thing.
