  • I am pretty sure this is on the north side of the 1200 block of O Street. It is one of the better examples of a new condo being built on a rowhouse-sized lot.

    3 thumbs up…
    I will say….

Thus far I haven’t seen anything that looks as beautiful as this. Its is a miraculous modern interpretation of a classic DC row styled house.
These are these are the projects I adore. It looks as tho they maximize the space and was still able to give hints of long-standing flare and design. This will never tarnish or become dated in my opinion.

Bravo to the architect who looks as tho he took his time and made this classy end unit. Roof deck and balcony also.

  • I love this. The top floor condo recently went under contract:

Kitchen seems dinky/ordinary, but I love the private roof deck. Wish there were more pictures…

  • It’s not cheap construction, that’s for sure. I like the references to the surrounding historic architecture (the front bay, the use of windows in the design composition). I also like that it doesn’t mimic the older homes directly.

Here are the renderings from the architect’s site:

  • It’s not to my taste. I don’t like the lack of symmetry, especially on the unattached side, and that it appears the windows don’t open.

  • Another one on my neighborhood. Love this one!
