Judging Buildings

This building is located on Church Street just west of 14th Street. It’s hard to get a good photo of building with my point and shoot camera because the street is pretty narrow but I think you can get a feel of it from the photo above. It looks like the material is some sort of metal. I think it looks super fresh. Do you like how this one looks?

    Love it, sort of unique.
Is the material that wierd high gloss stone? It have like a pearl metalic flake coating and silky to the touch.

I drive by after the gym 2nite to touch and see.

*I wonder if i will get a freakish look from passerbys as i rub the building, lol.

  • I haven’t been past this building yet, but it looks like the building is skinned in a material called Millennium Tiles. http://www.millenniumtiles.com/ If its not them, I bet it is something very similar. They are stainless steel tiles which are hung in a similar fashion to roofing shingles. The website has a few other interesting examples.

  • Is that the new one, near the end of Church by 15th? The new one, been under construction for quite some time?

Love the look of it… I want to touch it.

  • That’s what she said.
