Maybe you can put something on the POP to encourage supporters!”

Without your support the arrival of YES! Organic Market to be located at Taylor and Georgia will be in jeopardy. So please get writing! Or testify if you are able. Thanks.

  • I for one am ecstatic a the thought of a Yes! supermarket with a wine selection. While the quickymart on Upshur has come a long way its its beer selection (Magic Hat!) I’d love to have a good place to satisfy the wino in my life.

  • Writing to Ms. Puig-Monsen now…

  • I am out of town until the 1st but I would go to the meeting if I was in town. I will be writing a letter of support.

  • 2pm on a Tuesday? I fear a vocal minority who oppose this will take the time to show up for this meeting on a work / school day, while a majority of those who support this license will rely on others to make their case. Please don’t let that happen if you are for this. Composing e-mail now…

  • I’m going to try and make it. Would love to have this place 2 blocks away.

  • I work down the street from the Wilson building so will try to make it; having a grocery store with a decent beer/wine selection 2 blocks from home would be great.
On a related note, does anyone else find the smell of the Georgia Ave Safeway offensive?

  • saf

Matt, my dear, you must be new here.

I mean, that is to say, not only is the smell offensive, really, the entire store is offensive.

  • I’m always a little behind. Just saw the posting and emailed in support. Thanks, Pop.

  • ditto. just emailed support and cc-ed friends in the neighborhood.
