Potentially Super Cool Exhibit in Woodley Park

This is located in the new building of the Stanford in DC house located on Connecticut Ave in Woodley Park. I’ve always been a fan of political cartoons so this seems like it could be really interesting. Oliphant in particular can be a genius. Plus there’s a lot of material to work with from the “Bush years”. So if you’re bored this weekend here’s an interesting option.

  • The National Portrait Gallery (the Smithsonian Museum in Chinatown) has an exhibit devoted to political cartoons by Herb Block, aka “Herblock,” who is famous for his caricatures of decades of US presidents.
