  • Do you know why the restaurant is called ‘Cafe St Ex-‘ and what is behind the airplane motif? It is named after the French author of ‘Le Petit Prince’, Antoine de Saint Exupéry. While the airplane is not exactly the same as the Little Prince used, it was one they could make into a logo.

  • P.S. Someone who knows more about planes could tell you more, but you get the picture.

  • The plane in the stained glass looks like a DC-3/Dakota. I think the plane in the book was a Caudron Simoun – a small French single propeller 4 seater.
