Statement from Director of Central Mission Homeless Shelter?

I saw this on the Petworth Yahoo group, allegedly said by a Director of the homeless shelter coming to Georgia Ave. If true this is totally hilarious. It is from the site Mission D.C. Facts. Can anyone verify this quote? Did anyone go to this meeting? The Web site reports:

“Barfonce Britton Baldwin, Senior Director of Central Union Mission was on hand to answer area resident’s questions at a June 13, 2007 neighborhood meeting regarding the men’s homeless shelter’s desired move to Georgia Avenue. One young female resident who had unknowingly recently purchased her first home across from the proposed location of the mega-shelter asked Baldwin how she would feel if she were in the same situation.
Barfonce replied, “I understand. If the Mission tried to move into my neighborhood, I would oppose it too.”

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
